Sinus Lifts

A sinus lift is a surgery that adds bone to your upper jaw in the area of your molars and premolars, allowing you to proceed with Dental Implant Treatment if a previous tooth removal has caused bone loss and movement of the Sinuses. The bone is added between your jaw and the sinuses either side of your nose. In order to make room for the bone, the sinus membrane is moved upward by one of our specialist dentists, before a strong bone substitute is added.

The Sinus Lift is used when there is not enough bone height in the upper jaw for a the dental implant to be embedded into or of the sinuses are too close to the jaw, risking a n intrusion from the base of the Dental Implant.
